Now about this site, it’s no secret to anyone that photography is a very expensive passion. New cameras can cost as much a brand new small sized car. During uni I didn’t exactly make a lot of cash working at Super Cheap Auto, getting a new camera at the time to do what I needed was not exactly an option either (think 2002ish Nikon D70 and Canon Rebel 300D were considered new and this was pre-digital price crash). So my only option at the time was to buy used. Problem really was at the time and I see today still is, is the lack of information and help in buying and finding used camera gear. I guess the need for such a source is far more relevant today with some real good gear getting on in their years, offering some real attractive bargains for your money. So hopefully with my background as Industrial Designer, Self Confessed Tech Geek, and Photography Enthusiast I can offer you all out there starting on your path some help and guidance. Along the way I will share my personal endeavors to make it from amateur to pro in this hard hitting and immensely challenging industry as well as some hints and tips to anyone new starting out on this path. Rest assured I will endeavor to bring you good people plenty of excitement, joy, tears, laughter, good times and bad (sounds like a soap doesn’t it?
